All Saints’ is a church family seeking to nurture fellowship and faith in Jesus Christ, and to share the good news of His saving love with Brixworth and beyond.

We are a church family

According the bible, a church is not a building, but a group of Christians.

We believe that whoever you are, wherever you are from, whatever you have done, you can come to Jesus in repentance. Those who do will find God the Father’s forgiveness, acceptance and welcome, and receive the Holy Spirit’s power to follow Jesus, our saviour and King.

Because of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection, all Christians can call God, “Father”, which means that all believers are brothers and sisters. We seek to love each other as God’s family.

Everything we do seeks to nurture fellowship and faith in Jesus Christ

We love to learn more about what God has to tell us in his Word (the Bible) to speak to Him in prayer and to understand how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ is for us.

We believe that the Bible, although written a long time ago and into a very different context, is still useful for us today. So the reading and thinking about God’s word is central to our Sunday and midweek Home Group gatherings, and our Family Faith & Fun.

We believe that God hears the prayers of His children, and lifts up those who humble themselves before Him. Our monthly prayer meeting is a chance to thank God for the ways he has answered prayer, and to ask for his blessing as we move forward.

We want to share this good news with others

The good news of Jesus is good news for everyone: whoever you are, wherever you are from, whatever you have done.

We were created to be in relationship with God the Trinity, but we have all turned away from Him. Turning our back on God, doesn’t lead to freedom we might think, but separates us from the source of life.

But Jesus came to show us what God is like, and do what was needed to bring us back into relationship with Him. By living, dying, and rising again, Jesus is the One who offers us full life – true life.

We want others to know that knowing Jesus and following Him, although often hard, is the very best way to live.

We are a Church of England church, so our official basis of faith is the 39 Articles of Faith.
